10 K Cereal Bars

It’s the first week of 2014 and New Year’s Resolutions are in full swing! We know that a lot of people choose to live a happier, healthier lifestyle in the New Year and we want to help.

With breakfast being such an important meal of the day, we are featuring our 10K Cereal Bars this month. We know that it’s often hard to make time to sit down and eat, so these on-the-go cereal bars will hopefully be easy and convenient for you to just throw in your bag.

Happy New Year!



  • 1/2 cup – butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 Tablespoons – honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon – salt
  • 2/3 cup – sliced or diced walnuts
  • 2 – eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups – granola cereal
  • 1 teaspoon – vanilla


Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Blend well. Pat into greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake at 350°F 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and cut into 16 bars.
